Helicid is a white needle-like, rod-like crystalline powder, or flake; odorless; taste bitter.Helicid is dissolved in water, in water, ethanol or methanol, slightly soluble in ether or chloroform insoluble.The melting point of the melting point of helicid for the 195 ~ 199 °C.
